God’s Army Part 1: Enlarged

Myyyy my my, God is speaking. There’s so much I need to say my fingers are getting tongue-tied trying to get it all out!

This is a year to expect the unexpected, but whether that “unexpected” is good or bad depends on each individual. Let me quickly explain…

In October I posted about ascending the mountain of God and an acceleration stirring in the earth… This is that acceleration—it’s just been unleashed. (I highly recommend re-reading that word—click here). We may have just had to face a circumstance appearing to be a dead end, but if our hearts are aligned with the perfect will of the Father and our faith with the movements of heaven, we can now expect the Holy Spirit to supernaturally empower us to “break speed limits” and ascend the mountain of God without hindrance.

However, if our hearts and faith are unaligned with God’s perfect will, then expect acceleration into disobedience and the consequences of that disobedience. The spiritual downfall will be sudden and great.

“How long are you going to sit on the fence? If God is the real God, follow him;

if it’s Baal, follow him. Make up your minds!” -1 Kings 18:21

Remaining on the fence will no longer be an option because God is removing that as an option.   This year, a choice must be made. Choose to jump towards God, and you will discover you can mount up with wings like an eagle and soar. Choose the desires of your heart, and don’t be surprised when you cliff-dive into the belly of consequence because of unbelief.

I’m going to separate the new insight He’s given me into 2 posts: God’s Army— Enlarged and God’s Army— Empowered. Here goes #1…

I awoke from a very vivid dream on the January 24th and my spirit was quickened with this message: “When the Santa Ana blows, anything can happen…” (It’s a line from the movie The Holiday.)

Say whaaaaa???

I have been on a QUEST to unpack those words ever since I heard them…   I had no earthly idea what the Santa Ana is, so I hurriedly ran it through google, finding tons of recently posted news articles reporting that the Santa Ana winds were to peak that same day and warning of the havoc they had already caused the day before in California—uprooting trees, tearing down billboards, power outages, and fires…

Say whaaaaaaaaaaaaa???

This puzzled me a great deal at first, because when the revelation was given my spirit enlarged with excitement and anticipation about a great rush of the Holy Spirit… It wasn’t a “warning”. I continued researching the Santa Ana, and found that it’s a katabolic wind known primarily for exciting fires and causing the Pacific to upwell. Fire and water… Two elements often used to represent the Holy Spirit.

The reason the winds commonly induce fire has everything to do with both where they originate and the way they heat up adiabatically as they move downhill. Where do they originate? (Would you believe me if I told you I began thinking about Ezekiel 37 before reading this next statement???) “The Santa Ana winds do not originate in precipitation, but in the bone-dry high deserts.” (Wikipedia) BAM. Chills—

God’s Spirit took me up and set me down in the middle of an open valley strewn with bones.

He led me around and among them—a lot of bones! There were bones all over the valley—

dry bones, bleached by the sun.

He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

I said, “Master God, only you know that.”

He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones: ‘Dry bones, listen to the Message of God!’”

God, the Master, told the dry bones, “Watch this: I’m bringing the breath of life to you and you’ll come to life. I’ll attach sinews to you, put meat on your bones, cover you with skin, and breathe life into you. You’ll come alive and you’ll realize that I am God!”

I prophesied just as I’d been commanded. As I prophesied, there was a sound and, oh, rustling! The bones moved and came together, bone to bone. I kept watching. Sinews formed, then muscles on the bones, then skin stretched over them. But they had no breath in them.

He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath. Prophesy, son of man. Tell the breath, ‘God, the Master, says, Come from the four winds. Come, breath. Breathe on these slain bodies. Breathe life!’”

So I prophesied, just as he commanded me. The breath entered them and they came alive! They stood up on their feet, a huge army.”

– Ezekiel 37:1-10

America is DESPERATE for revelation that the blood of Jesus has not been deprived of its power. How many churches are filled with nothing but dry bones? How many? No wonder the bride of Christ has been limping so; her body has been disjointed— her members dissipated. It is absurd how blinded we are to who God truly is. We are DESPERATE for the breath of heaven, the Spirit of God… We are DESPERATE to be purged, stripped bare, and impassioned by His fire. He has already been in the process of realigning her and reconstructing her—we have already been in the mist of revival. But make no misjudgments; the best is still before us. I see entire states whose ground is trembling with anticipation at the sound of coming revival.

While the large waves that form from the Santa Ana can cause serious harm to anyone caught in them, the winds have an overall beneficial impact on the marine environment. Upwellings bring tons of nutrients from deep within the sea to the surface layer, which has been deprived of them. (This is good for the little fishes and is advantageous for the fishing industry). The Holy Spirit does the same—our relationship with Him begins with Him removing superficial things covering our hearts (a painful process) in order to draw out the mysteries of God from within. We’re not the only ones that are to gain from this… The fruit we begin bearing feeds those around us and establishes the Kingdom:

“Counsel in the heart of man is like water in a deep well, but a man of understanding draws it out.”

– Proverbs 20:5

“Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?”

“Yes, Master, you know I love you.”

Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.” – John 21:15

When God showed Ezekiel the valley of death it was very significant that he saw “dry bones” before God put flesh on them and they became “dead bodies” before He breathed on them and they lived. God’s prophets resurrected people in the Old Testament… But no one that had been dead so long that only dry bones remained. “Son of man, can these bones live?” God was showing Ezekiel that He literally can take something far beyond the possibility of life and call it forth again. And that is exactly what God is doing now here in America and in the earth.

In other words… Who (or what) is it around you that you would not expect in a GAZILLION years for God to spiritually resurrect? Who (or what) do you consider too far-gone? Keep your eyes peeled, baby. Pray that He would show you what bone-dry people and places He desires to re-inhabit and then speak life back into them in the name of Jesus. Declare they shall live!

Divine restoration… I am a product of this move of heaven, myself. For too long we have given Satan means to profane God’s Holy name—defaming His essence, character, and reputation because of living, not only double lives, but defeated lives as well.

“And I will vindicate the holiness of My great name and separate it for its holy purpose from all that defiles it—My name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them—and the nations will know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord [the Sovereign Ruler, Who calls forth loyalty and obedient service], when I shall be set apart by you and My holiness vindicated in you before their eyes and yours.”

– Ezekiel 36:23

Notice that He didn’t resurrect the people for them to twiddle their thumbs. They stood to their feet a huge army.

“On that day a fountain will be opened…

I will put this third through the fire;
I will refine them as silver is refined
and test them as gold is tested.
They will call on My name,
and I will answer them.
I will say: They are My people,
and they will say: Yahweh is our God.”

– Zechariah 13:1&9

See, the thing about God is… He’s undefeated. And He will never be defeated. So when He builds a Kingdom army… He builds an army. This is what He is especially increasing my fascination for at the moment—how He is empowering and unleashing His army. The Holy Spirit is sending His breath throughout the earth to ignite fires and fan flames—the result of this is accelerated breakthroughs and spiritual growth. Accelerated training so to speak… Seek Him; You will find Him.

I’ll be back in a few days with part 2– empowerment!
